Performed a strategic review of pharmacy market place and assessed clinical systems providers across Europe and USA for LogicaCMG Sweden. Produced a market assessment and recommendations report which enabled LogicaCMG to bid for a major deal in Sweden.
Consulted with Boots on deployment strategy and helped them to define step by step implementation process for new NHS EPS service. Run workshops and produced report.
Programme Release Manager, Marks and Spencer
Led £20m portfolio of projects in a business transformation programme for 500+ M&S stores; managed budgets, risks, issues and inter-project dependencies. Established and led a cross functional team with particular emphasis on communication across the business. Managed 3rd party suppliers for the delivery and implementation of solutions to include Epos, hand held devices and wi-fi through the management of the portfolio of projects.
Programme Manager, AAH Pharmaceuticals
Led projects to deliver next generation of clinical pharmacy management solutions which enabled organisation to grow market product share and raise profile. Managed, mentored and motivated multidisciplinary teams resulting in the achievement of organisational business objectives and benefits. Established successful working relationship with NHS Connecting for Health (CfH) and launched 1st national Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) to pharmacy clients ahead of competition. Achieved regulatory compliance with CfH and completed 5 initial pilots with Co-op Pharmacy and Sainsbury 12 months ahead of competition.
Implemented clinical application solution, infrastructure and business process improvements to over 500 pharmacies in England to include Co-op Pharmacy, Welldricks Pharmacy, Sainsbury Pharmacy, etc. Additionally, implemented solutions for pharmacies in Scotland to support the NHS Scotland initiatives.
